All brands, genuinely
Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, MSI and Apple MacBook all come through the door regularly. Laptop parts are more model-specific than phone parts, so the first step is always confirming your exact model and what is actually available before we quote — sometimes same day, sometimes a short wait for the part to arrive.
Spilled something on the keyboard? Turn it off now
The same rule as phones applies, doubled: do not press keys to check if it still works, do not plug it in. Tip it to drain what you can, and get it to us before the liquid finds its way to the motherboard. The faster it arrives, the more of it we can usually save.
Battery swelling on a laptop is a bigger deal than on a phone
A swollen laptop battery can push the trackpad up or crack the case from the inside. If your laptop no longer sits flat on a desk, or the trackpad has stopped clicking evenly, stop using it and bring it in — this is not a wait-and-see situation.
Why laptop repair timelines vary more than phone repair
A phone screen is one part with a handful of common variants. A laptop screen, keyboard, or battery is specific to the exact model number, sometimes down to the manufacturing batch. We will tell you honestly whether we have it in stock or need to order it in, and roughly how long that takes, rather than guessing optimistically.
